Description: The Dean of the College of Letters and Science and the Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee are pleased to announce the 2013-2014 Mary Jo Read Scholarships for undergraduates majoring in Geography. This Scholarship provides $2,500 in annual support during the 2013-2014 academic year in the form of tuition remissions split ($1250 each) between the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters (students planning to graduate in December 2013 may apply for a Fall 2013[$1250] award).Students may receive a Mary Jo Read Scholarship a maximum of twice during their undergraduate career.
Closing Date: To apply submit the following documentation to the Mary Jo Read Scholarship Committee (Attn.: Prof. Changshan Wu), Department of Geography by September 23, 2013.
