Fully-Funded PhD Studentship in Psychology at Swansea University in UK, 2013-2014Eligibility: -Students must be from the UK/EU.
-Students must have, or expect to achieve, a minimum 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent) and/or an MSc in a relevant discipline (e.g. psychology or neuroscience).
-Students should have strong written and spoken communication skills.
-Students should have experience with Matlab programming and imaging dataset (imaging data).

Description: The main objective of this project is to explore the neural circuitry underpinning gambling-related cognitive processes in the context of gambling addiction, a growing societal problem in the UK (1% of the adult population).The successful applicant will join a new, vibrant and productive team in the Department of Psychology and the Institute of Life Sciences. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual wishing to make a substantial contribution to the field of cognitive neuroscience.
