With the Immigration Visa Foreigners Registration and Tracking (IVFRT) system having become operational in Tiruchi, the City Police have asked hoteliers, lodge owners, guest house owners, individual house owners and educational institutions accommodating foreigners to provide information about them.
The owners should submit C- Form containing details of foreigners after obtaining user ID registration upon submitting a request to the Foreigners Section in the City Police Office.
Educational institutions admitting foreign students must submit S-Form (Student Form) and also C- Form if the foreign students stay in college / school hostels.
No service will be provided to the foreigners when they approach the Foreigners Section office for visa related service without C-Form and S-Form. For details on IVFRT, the Foreigners Section office could be contacted over phone: 0431 2333220.

The IVFRT is a mission mode project of the Ministry of Home Affairs under the National e-Governance plan developed to secure integrated service delivery framework that facilitates legitimate travellers while strengthening security.
Under this project, foreigners who needed registration services / visa related services could register through online. The IVFRT project became operational at Foreigners Section in the City Police Office in November 2013.
