TUCSON, AZ--(Marketwired - Mar 18, 2014) - AudioEye®, Inc. (OTCQB: AEYE) ("AudioEye" or the "Company"), creator of the Audio Internet™ patented audio browsing and automated publishing technology platform, today announced that the University of Arizona's Eller Management Information Systems ("MIS") department has upgraded its website (http://mis.eller.arizona.edu/) to incorporate AudioEye's patented Audio Internet® Platform Version 5.0. The new platform contains exclusive patented features that empower a set of tools tailored for the needs of the disabled, and enables a new dialogue and navigation methodology that does not require a monitor or a mouse to fully utilize, complete web and mobile engagements and create dialogue between students, faculty and other constituents of the University of Arizona MIS website.

AudioEye's Audio Internet® Platform is a patented cloud-based Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS") device that generates, maintains, and presents the user with an interactive, fully accessible audio equivalent version of any website. Content is normalized and presented in a format that is consistent across all AudioEye-enabled websites by presenting web content in an optimal configuration uniquely tailored to individuals with disabilities and other special needs. The new platform, which is anonymous and free to end-users, represents an industry-first solution to the vital accessibility and mobile content delivery mandates, laws and eyes-free / hands-free interactive content delivery that consumers demand.

"The MIS department is excited to be part of and instrumental in developing this innovated platform, and we look forward to having our students work with AudioEye on future exciting opportunities," stated Anji Siegel, MIS Director of Special Programs.

"Our next-generation Audio Internet® 5.0 platform solves critical access issues for publishers of websites and providers of Internet services and applications for the estimated 61 million Americans who have hearing and vision-related disabilities, according a study conducted by the FCC," stated Paul Lyons, AudioEye's Vice President of Sales. "The Audio Internet®, which is designed for producers of websites and apps, enables the automatic provisioning and normalization of website content and makes available a series of tools to all end-users. Our technology allows website and mobile application owners and publishers to expand the reach to larger 'audiences' with a fully compliant and comprehensive set of Internet initiatives. At its core, the technology allows our customers to comply with the 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act (CVAA) and both Sections 508 and 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act."

According to the U.S. Department of Education, throughout the United States there are 1,655 community colleges. Of these, 1,047 are public institutions and 415 are private. There are a total of 4,495 Title IV-eligible, degree-granting institutions, including 2,774 four-year state colleges and universities. AudioEye's SaaS-based Audio Internet platform is being marketed, adopted and deployed by developers of collegiate websites to fully address accessibility laws, compliance with the 21st Century Communications Act, and the provision of eyes-free and hands-free content navigation.

"We are currently incorporating this technology deployment in over 25 educational facility websites that will be 'turning up' the Audio Internet 5.0 product line in coming days," stated Nathaniel Bradley, Chief Executive Officer of AudioEye, Inc. "It is appropriate that we are launching our first 5.0 deployment with UofA MIS, with which we have enjoyed a rewarding partnership with technological and economic impacts. It is exciting for all of us at AudioEye to bring these progressive and successive accomplishments to reality."
