SAT Free (http://www.testfree.co/SAT/), a no-cost online test preparation course, has launched operations for all potential college students, enabling nationwide and even worldwide access to university education.
The first open SAT course provided by industry experts, SAT Free was created by Chief Freedom Officer Andrew Mitchell, who is the former Director of Graduate Programs at Kaplan Test Prep and who himself scored a 1590 on the former 1600 SAT scale before attending and graduating from Harvard University.
"The opportunity to prove yourself to colleges should not come with a price tag," says Mitchell. "Every year, some students who thought college was impossible find a way thanks to their SAT scores. Our goal is to help make college education a reality for the people who aspire to it."
The course itself is now available to the public, including juniors and seniors taking the May and June 2015 SATs as well as students planning ahead for the tests in the fall. Furthermore, SAT Free will prepare students both for the current format of the test and for the upcoming new format to be instituted by College Board in the spring of 2016.
The new SAT "can cause anxiety for students and parents," Mitchell said. "We are here to guide you through the process, so you can figure out which test you're taking and get your maximum score."
