IELTS test takers from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait (thanks, S and A) shared these questions from a recent exam, which was the same in the two countries:

Listening testIELTS test in Saudi Arabia

Section 1. A passenger was complaining to a customer service agent about the inconvenience experienced on the flight.

Section 2. Description of the places located on a map.

Section 3. Don’t remember.

Section 4. A discussion between a professor and a student about the project done by the student.
Questions: multiple choice.

Reading test

Passage 1. Eight paragraphs on different types of places.
Questions: match statements to paragraphs, short-answer questions.

Passage 2. Don’t remember.

Passage 3. About a manufacturing process.
Questions: filling in blanks.

Passage 4. About sports that help to improve memory.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a letter)

You have some repairs to do at home, but there is a restaurant next to your house. Write a letter to the restaurant manager and say:

- What repairs are you going to do?
- How will it affect the restaurant?
- Provide a solution for the inconvenience.

Writing Task 2 (an essay)

Many people think that money brings happiness, but others think that having too much money is a problem. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
