The graph shows how many bee colonies in the United States and how much honey that they have produced from 1970-2010.

Generally, the number of bee colonies depend on decreasing. It may happen because their habitats broken by predators and global warming. So they cannot survive longer.

In the beginning, the number of bee colonies increased at 200,000 in 1970-1980, at 4,200,000. But, 30 years later this number declined, with the result only 1,800,000 bee colonies left.

In the same periods, the amount of honey producing by them also fell down. In the beginning, they could produce 130,000 tons of honey in 1970. But, in 2010 this amount decreased gradually at 70,000 tons of honey.

Overall, the graph shows the falling down of the number of colonies bee and the amount of honey from 1970-2010. In fact, the more the number of colonies bee, the more the amount of honey produced. So, we have to look after the environment in order to save them from the danger. On the other hand, we can consume their honey every time.
