The given diagram illustrates process of purifying seawater to be drinking water using a simple method.

Overall, the process use simple distillation principle which two elements are seperated each other as effect of heat.

The device, which floats in sea water, consists of a rubber tube, a big floated plastic, and drinking water collector. The device can float in seawater because it is lighter than the water. In the rubber tube, there is a hole in order to make water entering the device.

This process only can operate in morning through afternoon, when the sun comes. The optimum result is in midday, when the temperature of heat is the highest. The process begins when the heat energy from sun makes seawater in the device evaporating. As a result of closed area, the steam water in plastic becomes full and then it suddenly converts to be droplets which it adhered in plastics. As an influence of gravitation, the droplets flow down following the surface of plastics. At last, water is collected in drinking water collector.
