This diagram describes about consumption of fish and several types of meat include chicken, beef, and lamb during 25 years. In Europe, trends of consumption look opposite between meat and fish, but the patterns seem similar both of them whose mostly fluctuated since 1979 until 2004.

The illustration shows consumption of fish fell down after 1979 and recovered slightly in middle period of 1979 – 1984. Fish in most of the year is fluctuative stably. Meat has different trend which depend on the kinds such as chicken who rose fluctuatively and be leading in 2004. Contrast with beef that fell down in the first 5 years and then rose sharply until 1984. Beef and lamb have the same trend which was felling not regularly during the period.

On the other hands, the interesting point is fish that always has the lowest number during the time and the chicken can showed the significant transformation. Chicken usage was lower than beef and lamb in 1979 and became leading on the top in 2004.

Overall, it can be concluded that the consumption of fish and meat in Europe since 1979 until 2004 can be found by analyzing the graph.
