I am writing this letter to your newspapers to protest regarding the proposed development of Balpatisy Park opposite where I live.
I obtained this news from my local council who has sent me a mail. The developer is going to build an immense three–storey block of flats on July this year. I am firmly disagree to this plan, and my neighbour too.
There are many high constructions in this are already. Even though it is true that people, especially who get lower income, have to own a place to stay, they have to have a location for playing as well. If this project is conducted, our children would lose their playground. Otherwise, that is the only park we have in this suburb. Moreover, the park is important for greening program because there are many plants planted for long time ago. It provides fresh air and reduces pollution in our community.
Consequently, you should agree with our action to save our lovely park. Please write to your newspaper and tell to the council how you feel about this plan. In addition, we might possibly to ask people to sign a petition to helt the project, if it is required. I look forward for your prompt response.
