There is no doubt that advertising is a part and parcel of today’s modern world. It is well said that ‘Those who can advertise can sell off anything, anywhere and at whatever price!’Advertising is an art of promoting and publicizing something and furthermore compel the consumer to synchronize with the ideas/product one is advertising.

Firstly, let us have a look at different ways of advertising. To name a few we have posters, television, newspaper, mobile and the INTERNET. The cohesive bond of advertisers and the consumer can be illustrated by number of hoardings seen in every corner of the city. Second there is no TV or radio programme which goes without advertise. Third is the latest medium of mobiles and the internet pages which are blocked by various promotional statements.

Furthermore, if we were to compare the old trends with the new ones we find that this field has ethically dropped. Earlier the promotion of a product would take family into consideration. Presently, we find this pattern changing if we bring the children into the picture. This can be explained by an example which we most of us overlook many times. Today’s children browse the internet quiet often and which are filled with advertise which exposes the children to early adulthood.

Lastly, I firmly believe that advertising can be considered as one of the vital reason for losing the link between the modern world and moral values. If we have to BUILD a good world one should use this medium consciously as it directly strikes the cognitive brain during the development age.
