PROS and CONS of USING PUBLIC TRANSPORT

What do people prefer to get to work by? Nowadays, due to some reasons or just for their own preferences it is common among people to use public transportation rather than driving a car. However, sometimes it is not the best solution to get where they want. Besides advantages, there are also several disadvantages of using public transport. I will look at the both sides of the issue and try to draw some conclusions.

One of the major plus points of using public transportation is that many people can use it at the same time, which means less traffic congestions. Moreover, if your work place is far from your home and you do not have your own car, public transportation is the best way of getting to work. The only thing that you should do is to leave home earlier and you will be at work on time. Another thing which makes it advantageous is reasonable prices. It means that everyone can use it, without facing any financial problems.

However, pros may cause some cons. As it was mentioned, public transportation fares are cheap, so everyone wants to use it. Sometimes there are so many people that it is impossible to breath. In addition, there might be robberies and no one will notice it because of the number of people. Also, bus does not bring you to the exact place that you need.

To sum up, there are both positive and negative aspects of the using public transportation. Personally, I believe that in spite of some drawbacks, this method is more advantageous.
