Should children be taught sex education at school?
There are many bad news we can listen from media about sex crime. Today, it is not only happened to adult, but also children. There are many cases that the children got abused by adult. It can ruin their future, not only physically but also psychologically. There is an idea, to give sex education at school to reduce the cases. Many people agree about it and many people also disagree with it too.
Some of the schools give sex education to their students at school. There are many reasons that we can consider. For example, this education is very important for life and useful until they get old, not only when they are child or teenager. They will accept right information about sex from right person, the teachers. They will learn about human sexual anatomy and its relation with their growth and development. If they understand this, it will avoid them from sexual abuse by adult and prevent them from sexual transmitted disease. This sex education also can keep their desire and prevent them from using internet for porn contents.
Many people think sex education should not be given to children at school. They told it’s a difficult lesson to be learned by the children in their age. It will probably make them confused or do not understand exactly. Many schools also do not have the teachers who have a good knowledge and teaching skills about it. But the most idea people think is, this idea can make the children curious about sex. So they search more information, not only for education but also porn content to satisfy their desire. If it happens, cohabitation and free sex can be increased.
In conclusion, there are convincing arguments both agree and disagree if sex education should be given at school. There are many facts that sex abuse in children is happened because the children do not understand do not have knowledge about sex. So, if we try to give them sex education early at school, probably it will prevent them from sexual abuse and will decrease member of sexual crime in our country.
