Over the 1900s, Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC, and Kyoto opened their underground railroad systems, which covered 199km, 155 km, 126km, and a mere 11 km, respectively. Finally, in 2001, the routes of Los Angeles systems are only 28 km long in total.
