The given chart gives information about the proportion of French people consuming four different means of transport from 1990 to 2010.
It is clear that there were different decreases in almost figures, except for car. Moreover, bus was the most popular means of transport in 1990, but after 20 years, car was the most attractive one in 2010.
In 1990, the percentages of residents using bus and car in France stood at around 70% and 50 % respectively. In addition, while France witnessed a dramatic decline to around 28% in the proportion of people who consume bus, that of car reached a peak of more than 90% over the period of 20 years.
Over 60% was the figure for individuals commuting train in Frace, while that of bicycle only stood at nearly 45% at the beginning of the period shown. Throughout 20 years, there were moderately fall by about 7% and 15% in the percentages of commuters using train and bicycle respectively.
