The presented bar graph demonstrates data about birth and death numbers of Switzerland population over the period of 50 years, starting from 1970 to 2020. Units are measured in millions for each one year.

The most striking feature to be observed is that, it is expected that the birth rate will follow an upward trend over the period given, however, the death rate will experience a fluctuant trend. Besides, the difference between the numbers of dying and who were born in Switzerland will become the most in 2020.

Looking at the data in more details, it is clear that in 1970 and 1980, rate of births was lowest point, standing at 1.2m and during three decades this figure rose remarkably and in 2010, reach the point of 3m. It is estimated that this growth will continue until 2020 and hit the peak birth number of 3.2m for country.

Turning to the rest of description, from 1970 to 1990, mortality level witnessed an increase trend, which rose gradually from 1 million to 1.5 million.After that, figure saw a tremendous fall and experts are predicting that compare to 1990, there will be about 50% decrease in 2020.
