The chart below shows the amount of leisure time enjoyed by men and women of different employment status.

The Provided chart show the number of leisure hours enjoyed by male and female of different employment levels in year 1998-99.

As can be clearly seen from graph, unemployment and retired categories females enjoyed same leisure hours 78 than the other type of employment females. Among all full time employed people, men had about 35 hours of free time on an average week compare to 38 hours free time for women. There is no data given for part time employed in male category but females for same category had 40 hours leisure time.

Moreover, unemployed and retired people had longest period of free activity both men and females but men had bit more hours than females. Lastly, housewives spent approximately 50 hours of leisure time which is more than part-time and full-time females but less than unemployed and retired females. the graph shows that men had more leisure time than females in all employment statues while women spent more time working at home.

In conclusion , it is noticed that in the part-time employed status, the amount of leisure time for the men was zero, while females enjoyed 40 hours per week. Also, unemployed and retired people had more leisure time than other employment statues.
