The bar chart illustrates the proportion of films made by 5 different nations, namely A, B, C, D and E from 2007 to 2009.
Overall, it is clear that the percentage of films produced by 3 countries increased whereas the figures for C fluctuated through the period. The proportion of films made by A was higher than those of other countries, despite a gradual decline.
In 2007, the percentage of films produced by A was the highest point, at 80%, then there were steady decline to 88% in 2008 and to 86% in the next year. In contrast, the figures for C fluctuated during 3 years, at about 20% in 2007 then this went up steadily by 2% in 2008 before falling lower percentage in 2009, at 18%.
There were similar trend for B, D and E. In 2007, the proportion of films made by B was 34% compared with 12% of C and less than 5% of E which was the lowest figure on the whole graph. In next two years, the figures for B increased to 36% and 50%, respectively. While there was a gradual growth in D, at 14% in 2008 and at 15% in 2009. The percentage of films produced by E were at 6% in 2008 and approximately 8% in 2009, these figures were lower 10% during a 3-year period.
