The diagram below show the life cycle of silkworm and the stages in the production of silk cloth. Summaries the information by selecting and reporting main features and compare where relevant.

The first graph demonstrates the transformation of a silkworm in a ordinary life. Whilst, the second diagram illustrates the procedures to manufact silk cloth.

Overall, the silkworm transforms from egg to moth in the life cycle. The production of silk cloth entails five steps to produce cloth from cocoon.

The life of a silkworm involves different stages of transformation. First, the mature moth lays eggs on mulberry leaf and it takes ten days for the eggs to hatch. Second, the eggs will hatch in to silkworm larva and the larva feed on the mulberry leaves for 4 to 6 weeks. Third, the mature larva generates silk thread to form a cocoon, which would spend 3 to 8 days. Forth, the larva undergo the transformation in the cocoon and it will become a moth after 16 days.

The manufacture of silk cloth uses cocoons as raw material and requires five procedures. The first step is selecting cocoons after moth left it. The second step is boiling the cocoon in water. The third step is unwinding the cocoon to retrive silk thread and one amazing fact is that a cocoon is made from approximate 300 to 900 meter of silk thread. Afterward, the forth step is twisting the threads into bundles. In this stage, producers can choose to dye the line. The last step is weaving the line to cloth adn also the producers can dye the colth.
