The diagrams show a structure that is used to generate electricity from wave power. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

The provided schemes illustrate the process of electricity generation, which is based on wave power.

Overall, it can be seen that the whole structure is based on the cliff or sea wall. Turbine works in the same direction in each part of this process. Of course, waves are needed for both stages of electricity generation. All of the other parts of the process remain in their places except for the wave direction.

To begin with, it is clear that the wave goes straight to the chamber in the first stage of electricity generation. Then it pushes air up, where the turbine is located. The turbine goes clockwise in order to produce the electricity from the air by circulating it. Columns play an important role in the process because they don’t give air the opportunity to go away.

The second part of the process remains much closer to the first one. It can be seen that all the stuff is in the same place. The key change is that air goes down from the top. This direction of the air moves water back to the ocean from the chamber.
