The following bar chart shows the different modes of transport used to travel to and from work in one European city in 1960, 1980 and 2000.

The bar chart illustrates four various types of transportations that were used in going out to and from works in a European city in three different years as 1960, 1980 and 2000. Overall what stands out from the chart is that while the use of cars increased dramatically over the time period mentioned in the question, others decreased.
