The graph below shows in percentage terms the changing patterns of domestic access to modern technology in homes in the UK Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons there relevant

The line graph supplied compares the proportion of users of modern technologies in Britain from 1996 to 2003.

It is evident that CD players ranked first in the whole period. The desktop computer was originally ranked second, but the mobile phone surpassed it in 1999. Furthermore, compared to the other three methods, accessing the Internet is a relatively new technology. It was invented in 1998-1999. Usage of all four technologies is increasing over time.

Specifically speaking, there was a steady increase in the use of CD players, from 60 percent to slightly over 80 percent. A similar pattern can also be found on the household computer, raising from around 30% to almost 60%. Although the Internet was founded later, its popularity has raised more than four times since invented.

Regarding the mobile phone, it was relatively less popular among Britains at first, just less than 20%. After 1998-1999, despite its fluctuation, its popularity overcame that of home computer. By the whole period, an almost 40% increase had been recorded, which is the highest among all four technologies.

In summary, while there are variations among all technologies, their users are generally increasing over time.
