The line chart depicts the information about the quantities of goods in million tonnes exported from Russia to other countries by several modes of transportation in 35 years from 1975 to 2010.

It can be seen from the chart that large amount of goods are transported through water transportation. Around 90 million tonnes of goods were exported through water ways in 1975. However, it consistently increases during 35 years of span and ends at 130 million tonnes of transportation in 2010. The other mode of transportation which is preferred next is road ways. In 1975 around 60 million tonnes of goods were exported from road ways and the value increased at 80 million tonnes for next 15 years. Then the number of goods exported by road ways decreased till 2005 and reached at 75 million tonnes and at the end it stopped at 82 million tonnes in 2010.

The next used mode of exporting the goods is Railways. In 1975 around 52 million tonnes of goods were transported by railways but it can be seen that there is a constant decrease in the quantity of goods exported by railways in next 20 years. It reached at 30 million tonnes in 1995 and then increased gradually and reached at 58 million tonnes in 2010. The least quantity exported by the mode of transportation in airways. In 1975 around 8 million tonnes were exported by airways and the quantity increases till the end and reaches at 40 million tonnes.

Finally, it can be seen that all modes of transportation has a significant increase in the quantity of goods being transported. The maximum quantity of good is preferred to be transported by water ways and the least is preferred by airways.
