The line chart illustrates the proportion of people watching television and listening to the radio who are over the age of four in 24 hours between October-December in the year 1992.
Overall, it can be observed that majority of people listen to radio during morning hours whereas most people watch television in the evening times.
Regarding TV, there are few people less than 10% at 1 am watching television. These figures remained relatively constant till 11 am. The viewership started increasing gradually from 11 am and reached a peak at 9 pm. In contrast, it observed a significant fall with observers dropping to 15% at midnight.
On the other hand, the radio was not as popular as TV the whole time. At 1 am, only 5% of people listened to the radio. This was consistent for 5 hours after which there was rapid growth and reached a peak of 25% at 8 am. Subsequently, the proportion started fluctuating for the rest of the day and remained at around 5% by the end of 24-hours.
