The graph on the right shows how prices of high-tech gadgets changed over time in Somecountry.

The line graph compares the mean figures of smart phones and exploration system in US dollars starting from July to December 2004 until July to December of 2006 in Somecountry. It can be clearly seen that although at first navigation system was costing higher than smartphones; as years went by, the prices of these two high-tech gadgets became almost identical.

In July to December 2004, navigation system cost 3,800 US dollars compared to phones which was about 3,100 US dollars. In the following half quarter of 2005, both of these devices were markedly low-priced and was having almost the same amount of 3,000 US dollars for the last six months of the year 2005.

In January to June 2006, the graph showed a rapid grow in the value of navigation system but there was a minimal fall in the price of smartphone. The only period when prices plunged in both gadgets was July to December 2006, when these two devices ended up with the amount of 2,270 US dollars.
