The pie charts illustrate the electricity units produced by energy sources in Australia and France in 1998 and 2000. Overall, the capability of electricity generation in both countries almost doubled with the increased from 100 units to 170 units in Australia and 90 units to 180 units in France.

To be more specific, in Australia, Coal continually played the leading role and it nearly trebled its production from 50 units to 130 units during the two decades.
