The most striking difference in the data was that exactly have of total units of Australia electricity was produced by coal in 1980, whereas by 2000 this number has increased to just over 75 percent. By contrast, nearly three quarters of energy generated by nuclear power in France in 2000.

By 1980, only 10 out of 100 units of electricity was converted from combustion of oil in Australia, which was two times lower than the amount of units produced in France.
