The table below gives information about the underground railway systems in six cities.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table entails the data about the underground railways' stations in six cities around the world, precisely from the UK, the US, France, and Japan.

Looking from all perspectives, it is readily apparent that the UK has the earliest building history of the Underground station, and Japan has the most passengers in its trains. Thus, in terms of the longevity of the station, London stands at the top with its opening date was in 1863. The years of 1900 can be witnessed with several constructions of underground railway systems as in Paris, Tokyo, and Kyoto, and Washington DC whilst the newest one would be the station built in Los Angeles in 2001.

Regarding the passengers, almost 2000 people in Japan, taking both Tokyo and Kyoto into consideration, use the underground subways which is the highest figure in all cities. It is followed by France people with 1191 in the account, which is larger than both LA and Washington DC combined. London station stands somewhere in the middle with its nearly 800 passengers using underground railways.

To sum up, people from Japan use the Underground railway stations to travel the most, compared to other countries and the least would be the Americans. London has the earliest historical record of the underground station and the US has got a newly built one.
