The supplied table illustrates the comparison of market shares,
of different computer brands in the years 2006 and 2007. The units
are measured in percentage.

Overall, HP has lead the competition in both years amongst the others
with 31.4 percent in the beginning, to an increase of 34 percent in
the following year. Following the rank of the leading manufacturer, Other
notebook computer companies possessed 22.8 percent of the shares but lost
3.5 percent of its smarket shares in the final year.

As to the next two known competitors, Dell followed the rank having 16.6
percent in 2006, to an increase of almost 4 percent in the latter year.
In contrast, Acer placed fourth in the competition with 11.6 percent but
decreased its shares in the market with almost 1 percent loss.

As to the other brands listed, each had the least of the shares in the
market.Toshiba increased its share at about 1 percent with 6.2 percent in 2006,
to 7.3 percent in 2007, while Lenovo faced a slight decrease from 6.6 percent to
6.2 percent.Fujitsu-Siemens doubled its loss from 4.8 percent to 2.3 percent,
making it the top least of the manufacture shares.
