The table illustrates the proportion of monthly household income five European countries spend on food and drink, housing, clothing and entertainment.

The table shows the portion of income spend in five European country like: France, Germany, UK, Turkey and Spain on monthly basis for four household uses that include food and drink, housing, clothing and entertainment.

The substantial amount of expenditure is by UK for housing (37%) and least amount of expenditure is made by France for clothing (7%). Expenditure on housing is high in country like France, Germany and UK. And expenditure on food and drinks is high on Turkey and Spain.

It is apparent that the huge amount of income is spend on housing, food and drinks on five different European country on monthly basis. In contrast, least amount of money is spend by country like France, Germany and Spain for clothing. However, Turkey expenditure on entertainment (10%) is less that clothing(12%). It depicts clothing is less preferable household for making expenditure in these countries. And UK is only country that spends equal amount of money on clothing and entertainment.

In conclusion, some European countries spend huge amount on housing and some spend highly on food and drinks. Where as least amount of money is spend on clothing and entertainment. Therefore, housing, food and drinks are preferable decision for making expenditure for European people.
