Music is an art form and culture where the medium is sound and silence. There are different types of music pop music, Jazz, classical music (Symphony opera), rock music to name them few. To a certain extent I agree that traditional music of a country is more important than the international music but international music can not be neglected.
We need music to keep ourself mentally and physically healthy. Music accompanies us all throughout our lives. Music is a key to soul. Music is much more important than yoga or medication as it helps people to concentrate and relief their minds. For example, in schools children are taught to sing, for the purpose of enjoyment and learning, music helps to develop language skills.
Traditional music depicts culture, custom and heritage of a country. It reminds people of the past and the lives of the ancestors. Traditional music is peaceful and helps to provide relief to mind from stressful situations. For example: In my friend’s house, their parents play traditional music in the morning, so they work and enjoy the music which help to make a fresh start. On the other hand, international music is catchy and fun. It helps people to know the culture of other nations. International music is trendy and up-to-date. It has variety of instruments and vocal.
To sum up with, its important to introduce traditional music to new generation to keep the music alive at the same time international music is also important as it helps to know the culture and customs of other nations.
