The pie charts demonstrate how detrimental refuse was processed in three countries including the UK, Sweden and the Republic of Korea.

Overall, as can be seen from the charts, Sweden and North Korea had three sole approaches to dispose of garbage while the methods to grapple with this issue were more various in the UK.

In the Republic of Korea and Sweden, rubbish was dealt with through landfill creation, recycling, and incineration. However, the patterns in the two countries were different. While recycling accounted for more than two-thirds of the former chart, it only made up a quarter of the latter. In the meantime, Sweden’s waste was mostly centered underground, while its ratio in Korea was only 22%. In addition, the percentages of fire utility to destroy the garbage were 9% and 20% respectively.

On the other hand, 82% of the rubbish in the UK was solved by being dumped into landfills. Discarding them in the sea or treating them with chemicals equally took up 8%. The other 2% of refuse was incinerated while there was no engagement of recycling.
