I am so glad to hear that you already decide to come to New Zealand for a vacation, I understand the first time is exciting as well as an adventure so let give you pieces of advice.
I would say you'd better come here in autumn because all the tasty fruits are ready so if you come we could go to orchard pick the fruits that we like. Besides, the autumn yellow leaves will make sunning views in the season because you will see a wide range of colors in the mountains.
I suggest you go to South Island to stay in Queenstown for a week, you do not have to plan just walk along the lake, the peaceful is the best natural experiences that you could remember for a long time.
We have a guest room in Auckland so after your South Island trip, you can come and stay here. You cannot imagine how I excited about our reunion.
