Traveling has become one of the common hobbies among people. The number of people visiting different destinations for personal, professional, and recreational purposes has increased significantly in recent decades. This essay will intend to analyze the reasons for this change and the ways how travelers are benefitted.

To commence with, cheap airfare and fast transportation encouraged people to travel to different places than ever before. The increasing number of travelers to different cities or countries to attend business meetings, visit relatives, and enjoy holidays has increased tremendously these years. Gone are the days when people spend their lives in the same city and a tour is a word for rich people only. Moreover, the tourism industry in most of the countries is working hard to attract foreign people and started taking initiatives and advertisements strategies to reach global vacationist. It is evident that busier workdays and a hectic lifestyle can easily drain one out. People want to refresh themselves quite often due to the increasing workload and they have easy access to the information they want. Technological advancements have enabled people to learn about different places around the globe from handpicked devices. Booking hotels, paying the tickets, and managing a tour guide is just a mouse click away.

Travelers, both enjoy the experience of traveling and learn about different cultures and traditions. This surely enhances their views, increases tolerance about other cultures, and helps to develop their knowledge. Traveling helps us to get away from the monotonous routine and revive to concentrate on our works.

To recapitulate, most of the people travel to different places for various reasons and improved transportation facility, technological advancements, and initiatives from the tourism industries has fueled this trend. Traveling broadens perspective, creates opportunities, and refreshes our mind. Besides, traveling helps to rediscover ourselves.
