Psychology is a natural science that descrebies and explains the psychological and sensory aspects of human behavior. It studies the causes, conditions, and immediate consequences of sensations and emotions. Psychologists view the human mind as a function

reading passage says that psychology is a natural science that describes and explains the psychological and sensory aspect of human behaviour. moreover it explains that mental behaviour changes according to the physiological changes in the body that mean when there is changes in the chemical combination that leads to changes in the human behaviour.

first of all, reading passage suggests that the human behaviour can be measured by means of rate of reaction and reaction time all contributes to the human behaviour, so it is a psychology is natural science. but the lecturer claims that psychology is not natural science it's a social science because it is deal with the social, physical and environmental factor rather than the physiological according to the speaker point of view.

secondly, reading passage states that the human behaviour is objective thing, this behaviour can be measured in terms of rate of reaction and the reaction time. but the speaker refutes this statement by stating that the human behaviour is not objective , it's concern with subjective matters.

thirdly, reading passage claims that psychological has several sub field in it and it based on the biological and mental status of a individual.for that reading passage explains on example, the neuroscience field developed from by experimenting the rats and it's behaviour compare with human behaviour. but the speaker refuses this statement and he says that yes psychology is has several sub division but not base on the biological changes it's purely depends on the social behaviour .

so finally, the professor explains that all the psychological field are developed from the basis of social, physical and environmental factor which determine the human behaviour and not by the basis of biological phenomenon.
