The passage states that some Rembrant paintings are not really his works. In addition, it states some reasons for this concept. On the contrary, the speaker believes that these works are indeed rembrant works and rejects the reasons that are stated in the passage.
First, the passage states a fact about unreal condition of the girl in the portrait. Considering the fact that rembrant was well known artist in real painting, the luxurious dress of the girl does not show a girl who is a servant.
