The lecturer talk about the dinosaurs were not the endotherms and contradict the argue presents in the reading passage.
Firstly, the lecturer mentions that dinosaurs lived in the polar region which were more warmer than today. In fact, during the winter period the dinosaurs migrated in the warmer region for hibernating. The fossils presence in the polar region does not prove that dinosaurs were endotherms. The lecturer challenge the point made by the reading passage that dinosaurs fossil found in the polar regions. Since in the colder region dinosaur maintained the body temperature, they were endotherms.
Secondly, the lecturer states that dinosaur had have more weight causes the larger size which was responsible for the underneath leg positions. The dinosaur leg position was not at the body's side, as same as crocodile and lizards, and the running was not concluded that dinosaurs were endotherms. The lecturer casts doubt the argue made by the reading passage that leg position and physical activity suggest that dinosaurs were endotherms.
Thirdly, the lecturer claims that dinosaurs had have Harversian canals as well as growth ring which helped to thicken the bone and rapid growth of bones. The slow and rapid growth of the bone depend on the growth rings. The lecturer refute the point made by the reading passage that presence of Harvasian canal which was helped the growth of the bones and make the stronger bone.
