The professor discusses that pterosaurs are capable of powered flight. The information she presents is directly opposed to facts outlines in reading.
Firstly, the lecture mentions that according to fossils record pterosaur have dense like hair which cause their body temperature is warmer and their metabolic system is fast not slow therefore he able to generate energy for fly. However, the reading states that pterosaur is colder animal and their metabolism system slow and cannot produces enough energy for flying.
Secondly, the speaker explains that anatomically pterosaurs are seems to large body size but their bone is hollow. Bone is not contain the high weight therefore pterosaurs have lower weight and able to flap their wing quickly. On the other hand, according to reading, pterosaurs were larger than giraffe and heavy weight they cannot flap wings quickly any length of time.
Lastly, the professor points out that normally birds use their two limbs to push of ground and jumping but pterosaur use their four legs to push the ground and jump at the high enough. In contrast, the reading empshasize that pterosaurs need the stronger and big legs for jump.
