Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) June 05, 2014

mySchooler Academy (http://www.myschooleracademy.com) is launching its Summer 2014 SAT SuperPrep Course beginning Monday, June 16th, 2014.

An educational consulting firm started by Carnegie Mellon University alum Jesse Lee, mySchooler Academy will run two, intensive nine week courses for the SAT I and SAT II standardized tests at multiple Pittsburgh Area campuses.

mySchooler Academy’s vision is to coach students the exam content, time management and mental discipline skills while instilling confidence in each student. It's a formula that proved to be extremely successful for SAT tutor and CMU alum Grace Park during her high school years and the 11-year veteran tutor is excited to pass on her knowledge to another generation of bright teenagers.

Park said, “It took much more than just flipping through a study booklet at home to score well on the SAT. I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who taught me time management and who helped me memorize hundreds of words and spend concentrated hours taking practice exams."

Both rigorous college admission curriculums (SAT I and SAT II) will focus on students completing work in class rather than taking homework to go. The SuperPrep teaching team will dive into specific test-taking strategy and cover exam content for the first half of the course followed by five weeks of standardized test practice focused on improving each student’s score.

“Our demanding curriculum has proven to help students minimize anxiety, pace themselves and most importantly boost their scores and chances of being admitted to their dream college. All of our SAT tutors have been through it and are excited to share their wealth of knowledge and experience,” Lee said.

Students can expect to learn 2000 vocabulary words and complete 4 full-length SAT practice exams during the nine week period along with practice questions covering 10 previously administered SAT exams and will benefit greatly from the test taking strategy consultation, score tracking, exam diagnostics and individual coaching that the mySchooler Academy team will provide throughout the summer.

SAT I classes will be held at Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh. These sessions will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10AM-3PM covering Math, Reading, Vocabulary, and Writing.

SAT II classes will be held at Penn Center East in Monroeville. These sessions will run Tuesday and Thursday from 10AM-5PM covering Math II, Chemistry and Statistics.

Students can begin registration by emailing myschooleracademy(at)gmail(dot)com or by calling 412.385.3131.
