Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?Always telling the truth is the most important consideration in any relationship between people.
All of us from our childhood used to hear a sentence by either teachers or parents or grand parents. It is don't tell lies and always tell the truth. Telling truth is necessary in between relationships but it not always possible to make a strong relationships only on truth. In some conditions, it is necessary to lie to keep a relationship. I have strong reasons and explanations to hold this opinion.
First reason is to keep or to maintain a relationship properly, we have hide truth sometimes. For example, think newly wedded couple are there. Wife bought a shirt to him to give as a gift. She showed to him. He don't like that color but he lied that he likes that shirt. It is just to maintain a relationship. Unlike this, if he say i don't like this y did u bought this without asking me, there is possibility of fighting between them. To avoid this, he just told a lie to satisfy her.
Second reason is to make people happy. In some conditions, we can make people happy with lies otherwise they will feel bad in that condition. For example, my neighbor buy a new dress for her birthday. She wear it on birthday and came to my home to show me and asked how it was. Then i replied, it is very good eventhough it is not good. Because if i tell truth she may hurt.Its not good to hurt her on birthday.So with lie i just make her happy for that time.
Some times it is good to hide the truth and telling something lie. It depends on situation. For example, that is the first day of y brothers job but unfortunately my grandmother was dead on that day. We know that she was dead but we didn't tell it to my brother. when he asked about grandmother to take blessings, we told that she went to bath. If we tell truth, he get upset with that news. So we lied.
To conclude, with the above reasons i will agree that we can't tell truth all the time. Based on the situation, we have to lie sometimes to make the relationships stronger and longer
