Professor Robert Solomon Memorial ScholarshipThe Scholarship was established in 2010 and is funded by a bequest from Professor Robert Solomon.

The main purpose of the Scholarship is to recognise the highest achieving student enrolled in a BA (Honours) in Philosophy each year and to provide support for subsequent graduate study at The University of Auckland.

How do students apply? Applications by way of a form and letter close with the Scholarships Office on 31 March in the year of the award.

Decision Makers: The Scholarship will be awarded by The University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising the Dean of the Faculty of Arts (or nominee), the Head of the Department of Philosophy (or nominee) and the Chair of the Philosophy Department Scholarships Committee.

How and when do students learn of the decision? Approximately six weeks after closing date by letter.
