NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF COMPUTER ON CHILDREN ( 250 words )

It would be difficult to imagine life without computers. we can not deny that computer in particular and technology, in general, has changed the way we deal with the world. From communicating with others, working online at home to accessing the giant information. besides those benefits of education and access to information, we should know that too much computer use can have harmful effects, particularly on children, on both physical health and social skills.
Using the computer is a very sedentary activity like watching television. You simply sit down, stare your eyes on the screen, and do not get too much exercise. These result in some health problems such as back problems, decreasing eyesight, even partly cause obesity. Some researchers have shown that people tend to eat more junk foods while using computers. Spending too much time on a computer does not only affect children's health but also leads to a lack of social skills and have constant influences on study and grade.
while some computer games created with a view to helping children develop certain cognitive skills, many games and other forms of computer entertainment do nothing to stimulate children's minds. The constant switching between programs, games, or videos makes it difficult to focus on tasks for longer periods of time, and this can affect a student's studies and grades. Computer addiction is a real thing, and it is very difficult to stop. Therefore children spend less time on physical activities and become less social. So such social skills like communicating, working, and developing self-esteem are not going to be prepared for children. they maybe feel loneliness and depression which are detrimental to health, relationships, and academics.
In short, I think parents should set a limit of a half-hour to an hour of computer time per day is a good way to prevent addiction and encourage them with other social and physical activities.
