The bar chart compares the proportion of British citizens' preferences with four types of accommodation at London, Oxford and Cambridge in the UK, in 2005.
Overall, it is clear that people in London like to live in flat houses most, while detached and semi-detached houses are more popular for the citizens of Oxford and Cambrigde.
Looking at the chart in more detail, the percentage of people choosing flats was the highest in London with 58 percent, more than other types of houses. Semi-detached and terraced houses were about 15% and 17%. And the detached houses were the lowest about 9 percent. By contrast, Cambridge was popular for detached houses of about 35%, in comparison, semi-detached houses about 26 percent, flats of 20% and terraced houses of 18%.
Nevertheless, citizens from Oxford prefenced in most types of housing, except terraced houses is the lowest of 19%. Flats were most likely with 29 percent, semi-detached houses about 26%, and finally, detached houses with 24 percent.
