Occupation now has been imcremental recently but almost executive-level roles are still undertaken by men even though half of the workforce is women in many developed nations. There are a lot of various arguments about this problem. In my opinion, I completely agree that the businesses should assign an approriate proportion of these positions to women.
Nowadays, the productivity of the companies is not related to the gender. Not at all, everyone is provided equal opportunities to contribute to their job. But now is changed, many employers think that the men can solve the work quickly and accurately more than women. It maybe true for some kinds of works. For example,the electric mechanic and engineer, high-level positions should be allocated to men because they have enough strength and skill invole with machine and electricity. But if the jobs are related to economics, teaching, desgin. I suppose that the women can make it plausibly by their patience and carefulness and also accelerate the productivity of work or any project the did.
On the other hand, women like Mary Barra- the CEO of GM, Abigail Johnson-The CEO of Fidelity Investments are one of the most typical characters about women which allocated vital positions in some vogorous business. In addition, if the companies do not balance the proportion of men and women in executive-level positions. They can be unfair to those people have hands-on experience in the work or talented one. As a result, the talented staffs are not interested in dedicating to the company. Everyone do not deserve to be discriminated by their gender.
In conclusion, the businesses should divide the high-level positions for the one which are well-qualified, have outstanding talents and experiences and have no discrimination to women.
