State budget surplus.
Until May-2019, state revenues have reached approximately 553.5 thousand ml, up 12.9% YoY, 39.2% yearly planed. Particularly, domestic revenues achieved 447.6 thousand ml, 38.1 % yearly planed in which gasoline revenues made a 21.8 thousand ml (48.9%) and 83.3 thousand ml (44%) was from imports and exports.
Meanwhile, total expenditure approximately reached 486.9 thousand ml VND, up 3.5% YoY, 29.8% yearly plan. Particularly, operating expenditure was 358.2 thousand ml - a 35.8% yearly plan, including 19.2% (82.5 thousand ml) from Development and investment and 35.2% (43.9 thousand ml) interest debt payment
Manufacturing sectors expanding in 42 months.
PMI in 05/2019 was slightly fell from the 5-month peak at 52.5 to 52 point in 04/2019. However, industrial sectors have made the longest expansion over the last 42 months from the first survey in 03/2012 (PMI exceeds 50).
The improvement in industrial sectors derived from attracting new customers, increasing significantly both quantity and number of orders. However, new jobs were tended to decrease in three of last 4 month which caused an imbalance between jobs and orders growth.
ASEAN PMI slightly improved to 50.6 from 50.4 last month thanks to the new orders and increased quantity. There were 6 over 7 countries in the survey made the expansion over 50 including Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore. Meanwhile, Myanmar PMI showed the biggest movement at 54.2 and a considerable number of new orders.
