Confidence in oneself is an important part of learning. What factors in classroom can contribute to a student's feeling of confidence?
Developing confidence student's abilities is a critical element in education. In order to learning, they should believe that they can understand information. When the teacher gives students an opportunity to succeed and encouragement, they can strongly trust in themselves.
Firstly, when students have a chance to complete the task successfully, their mind appears that they are able to totally learning. For example, if you give children a fully words book, they will think that read this book from the beginning to the end is Impossible. However, if you give them one page of that book and you insert a picture into below in order to describe what it is, naturally they will believe that learn to reading is not only simple but not also tough. As a result, the children gain their positive thinking in their capability.
Secondly, encouragement from teachers to students is probably essential in education. The teacher educates them step by step from easy level to difficult level so that they can comprehend information deeply. For instance, teachers will be able to show children how to break the long task into small tasks and then they will solve it without dispirited. Once students accurately complete this small task, they will feel highly enthusiastic about studying. Besides, ì the teacher honestly thinks they can learn and let them know they believe in their students, they will able to trust in themselves too.
In sum, building children belief in their studying ability should be a part of all classroom activities.
