Paper material is better than watching electronic devices to gain information, do you agree or diagree with this statement?
No body can deny that the broad spread of media in our days has a significant impact on our way of thinking. So personally, I totally disagree with this statement. It is my firm belief that watching electronic devices to gain information is better than reading paper materials for a couple of reasons, and I will elaborate on them in the subsequent paragraphs.
To begin with, electronic devices guarantees an efficient process of learning. They are certainly not boring and more interesting to watch. I have to admit that my opinion on this matter has been profoundly influenced by my own personal experience. I remember when I was at high school, our teacher used to prepare presentation about the biology topics we learn about. It was just impressive to watch audio-visual simulation of some vital functions of the organism, and to see the process about how cells defend theirselves against external factors. Moreover, we had a firm understanding of those lessons that I still can remember with details until now.
Secondly, it does not only encourage students to engage through the lesson and focus on it, but it also give the same information in a shorter time.
Furthermore, paper materials need more space in the library to be saved or archived while electronic devices can collect a large measure of information in only one small device. This latter, while used in the laptop, it will take only search about the information you are looking for. Drawing from my own experience, I use one hard disk to store the documents that I may need in my career an architect. There are plenty of written documents as much as videos, which are vital for my daily work and design.
To wrap things up, in light of the above mentioned reasons, I strongly believe that using electronic devices is much better than reading paper materials.
