Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students?
"Education is the first step to success". In order to be successful one needs to work hard. Many students complain that their teachers give them a lot of homework but I consider that giving them homework on daily basis helps them to have a stronghold on the subject course. Although, there are several merits and demerits to the above notion. This essay will discuss both the merits and demerits of assigning homework to the students on daily basis.
Firstly, let us focus on the advantages of giving homework to students it helps them to become responsible for their duty, as they do their homework on a regular basis. Secondly, not all students are indigenous many of them cannot grasp the subject in their class so once they revise the same lecture at home as their homework they can understand well and can solve if any doubt arises. Finally, homework helps them to improve their subject knowledge as well as their grades. Keeping all these merits in mind I think students must be given homework.
There are several demerits as students do not find time to develop in their personal interest like music, dance, or any other sports. Moreover, they do have enough time for play or any other physical activity. All day work and no play makes a person lazy. Hence from my point of view there as several pros as well as cons of doing homework on daily basis.
I would conclude this essay by saying students must be assigned homework on daily basis but not in huge amounts so that they get sufficient time for their hobbies and recreation.
