GU pro vice chancellor (PVC) Dr Mukul Shah said that the forms for PG admissions in arts, science and commerce have been given for printing. These will reach the colleges and the maximum fee for the forms to be charged from the students would be Rs 10.
University officials said that the result of BA and BCom is pending which is likely to be declared by the end of May. If there is any delay in declaration of these results, colleges will be required to complete the admission process in ten days. Colleges will undertake their admissions process, declare the merit list and grant admissions between June 3 and June 10. Similarly, all the departments of the GU will also put up their own merit list.
"We have started the process of PG admissions early this year so that the academic sessions of the students are not curtailed", said Dr Shah.
