"scientific theories,which most people consider as a 'fact,'almost
invariably prove to be inaccurate. Thus ,one should look upon any
information described as 'factual' with skepticism since it may
be proven false in the future.
People beleive in scientific theories for one main reason:lack of any other
theory in that field.Yes, certainly we should look upon every theory with
enough skeptcism,or with enough amazement until either it is proved or
otherwise.It took miilions of years evolution to bring the human race in to
existence. To know all the wonders of this universe takes little more than
2000 years of human exploration.
Human knowledge is vast ocean. As we try to uncover the mysteries that sorround
us, we come up with scientific theories. They are mainly our observations,some
are our imaginations, some are our delusions. Until we imagine a theory, observe
the necessary facts conclude our imagination is a theory rather than delusion.This
proces which is taking few minutes with internet and other communication
technologies used to take years if not centuries for initial scientists.
During this peer evaluation and conclusion, we will beleive in theories as fact.If
the teory is in fact a complicated one, we might need to wait 10 years ,20 years,
may be long time before another genious scientist arrive in that filed to further
porve it as fact or not.
If we start waiting on the future scientists to come and prove our existing theories
we will never be able to have any facts left. Our scientific endeavors are trail and
error based, yes they may be laughing stock of future scientists but that futrue is
possible because of todays discoveries or temporary facts which are waiting to be
disaproved.
We need to give each theory enough credit and accept as fact during the time until
that is proved wrong. As we uncover the mysteires that sorround us we need heros
with enough imagination, who are not worried by future scientist proving them
wrong.
